The Nike Dunks Penny 1 “Black Ripstop” is a model we originally caught a look at back in March (look here). At the time, we had clue whether or not they were slated to release. As it turns out, they are, and the drop is scheduled to go down this weekend at House of Hoops. The sneakers are draped in black from top to bottom, featuring an upper constructed from ripstop nylon, a first for the Air Max Penny 1, which has always included a nubuck upper. Additionally, grey appears on the tongue and within the “cracked” Swoosh, providing minimal contrast.

More detailed shots at the first six colorways expcted for the Nike Air Force 1 High Hyperfuse, release date expected this summer. The Air Force 1 Hyperfuse takes the classic silhouette of Nike’s most iconic shoe, but swaps out the typically-leather (but occasionally suede, canvas or just about anything else) upper in favor of a Fuse composite material, drastically reducing weight while increasing breathability and ventilation. All in all, a fantastic way to remix the classic shoe for summertime, and the monochrome colorways add the brightness typically in demand during this part of the year. Nike Dunks on Sunday capitalized on its tennis star's success by giving away a free Li Na "Use Sport to Change Everything - JUST DO IT" posters at over 50 Nike stores in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu.

According to The Herald Sun of Australia, Nike had printed 30 special edition T-shirts with "Be Yourself" written in Chinese on the front next to an Eiffel Tower.

"They should make more because a lot of fans were asking where they have the T-shirt (for sale)," Li told reporters.

The original Women's Nike Dunks High Vengeance known as a lightweight marvel is now making a comeback in a slightly advanced form called the Nike Lunar Racer Vengeance that pays tribute to its roots with gravity-defying Lunarlon cushioning and virtually seamless construction. Based on LunarLite technology, this shoe is built with LunarLite foam which is 30% lighter than standard Phylon and provides ultra-lightweight and springy cushioning. This allows impact force to be more evenly distributed and helps reduce painful pressure points. As for the exterior part, the toe area is made of breathable mesh whereas the midsection comes in nylon, and the remainder in leather. Lulow, though, argues that the city had begun negotiations with SoloPower in October and had plenty of time to put the issue to voters.
