More detailed shots at the first six colorways expcted for the Nike Air Force 1 High
Hyperfuse, release date expected this summer. The Air Force 1 Hyperfuse
takes the classic silhouette of Nike’s most iconic shoe, but swaps out
the typically-leather (but occasionally suede, canvas or just about
anything else) upper in favor of a Fuse composite material, drastically
reducing weight while increasing breathability and ventilation. All in
all, a fantastic way to remix the classic shoe for summertime, and the
monochrome colorways add the brightness typically in demand during this
part of the year. Hit the jump for a full-sized shot of each pair.
Nike Dunks
on Sunday capitalized on its tennis star's success by giving away a
free Li Na "Use Sport to Change Everything - JUST DO IT" posters at over
50 Nike stores in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu.
According to The Herald Sun of Australia, Nike had printed 30 special
edition T-shirts with "Be Yourself" written in Chinese on the front next
to an Eiffel Tower.
"They should make more because a lot of fans were asking where they have the T-shirt (for sale)," Li told reporters.
Eisenbud, Li's agent, singled out Fred Zhang, a sports marketing
employee with the Nike China office in Shanghai, with playing a key role
in Li's development as a tennis player.
Various news reports have recounted Li's frustration earlier in her
career. For a brief spell she even forsook tennis for two years starting
in 2002 for another profession, journalism.
Eisenbud, who also represents women's tennis superstar and Nike endorser
Maria Sharapova, said that association first made him aware of Li.
You have seen them several times, but the Nike Dunks SB
“Reign In Blood” will finally make its way to your hands tomorrow. Set
to launch at the Brooklyn Projects flagship store in Hollywood, the
version launching tomorrow is the special edition and will come with a
custom tee and a dust bag. Sizes are very limited, so sneaker fans that
want a pair should be on point. However, if you can’t make it to the
store tomorrow, a QuickStrike version of the shoe sans the t-shirt and
dust bag will drop at the end of June at other Nike SB retailers.
Nike SB is reaching back into their bag of tricks, taking inspiration
from a past Dunk release for a new colorway set for Spring 2012.
Inspired by classic “Grit” Dunk, the Nike SB Dunk Low–Grit 2.0 features a
largely brown upper, set off by a maroon Swoosh and white midsole.
We’ve got quite a wait on our hands until we’ll get a crack at these,
but expect for more pictures when they become available here at csdunks.
